Design by UBER

We're thrilled to be included in the current volume ( #17) of the 'Oscar of the design world' as The Times calls it. Andrew Martin's Interior Design review is a collection of the world's finest 100 Interior Designers. In only our fifth year in business (though our exerience and professional years far exceed the company's history) we have managed to achieve a goal many set as a ten year target and only the select few achieve.

It is great to see that the UK's representation of designer's at nearly 40% of the total full international considerations is bar far the strongest for any region.  And those who do not consider London as their primary office (as we do), there are but a few.

Included in the volume are our project Gleneagles, Morson appartment and The Vicarage.

All 3 of our entries scooped the five star prizes for their sections at the 2013/14 UK Property Awards sponsored by Gaggenau. Held at the Dorchester, London it was the first time we have entered and our representative designer could hardly believe his eyes taking home more coveted gold plaques than anyone else on the night - no easy task considering the calibre of our peers and their work. 

Our first award win was for the Interior Design Apartment, North West for our Adamson House apartment. The second 5-Star award win was for Interior Design Private Residence, Scotland for our Gleneagles project,  and to round up an amazing night we beat the likes of other super-prime design stalwarts to take top prize in the Interior Design Private Residence, North West for our Vicarage conversion. 

Simon Evans commented “It’s always a terrific feeling to win something and with a deep and respected judging panel featuring Terence Conran [to name only one of over 50]. It gives enormous boost of confidence to the team to feel what you are creating is also respected within the industry. But at the end of the day we don’t have the passion for exceptional design to win awards… it’s for the joy of seeing a smile on a customer’s face. Well done to our immensely talented team.

The Design Practice by UBER we're amongst the largest ever crowd of entrants from more than 23 represented countries at this year International Design & Architecture Awards by Design et al held at the Hurlingham Club, London.

With over 30,000 votes cast in total we we're thrilled to scoop another winning award this year making it 4 years in a row (an honor we only share with one other company).

The Design Practice by UBER we're thrilled to be at the splendid Ballroom at The Dorchester, London on Fri 28th Sept amongst a room of approximately 250 people featuring 70 world-class Interior design related companies. Hosted by Eve Pollard and Design et al's Joanna Beedles the room was packed with all the heroes of the interiors world.

This year we managed to have shortlisted an equal record 9 entries. To our delight our team managed to pick up a coveted win. This is now our third successive win at these awards and considering the talent on show and that it's only our company's third year, it is a true testiment to the talent, professionalism and shear hard work our 'family' UBER has put in.

We are truely delighted.

We're thrilled to have no less that 4 of our entries shortlisted in 2 categories for the coveted SBID awards 2012. The winners will be announced at Macef in Milan on 7th Sept and awards presented in London at a event and time to be announced.
