A house in Sevenoaks

Ashton Place was a large family home in Kent. The old house was demolished and a new one built in its place. Tailored Living picked up the project at a very early stage, just as the foundations of the new house were being laid. This was a perfect scenario! The earlier you can involve your interior designer in the process, the better the outcome will be. We were able to design the house from inside out, getting rid of unnecessary corner windows, raising ceilings, changing door positioning and placing all the plumbing and lighting in an optimal fashion. TL was also able to choose every single finish from the floors to the walls, and even the design of the staircase.

In this particular project we worked with the client to incorporate her existing family furniture and paintings. The brief was to create a feeling of understated luxury within a contemporary setting.
