The interior design Ascot Country Cottage brief was clear, not to lose any of it’s charm but to open up the space as much as possible and create a family home. By opening up the lounge and installing an integrated fireplace made a focal point, this naturally created two seating areas in a relatively small space. With muted velvet armchairs and graphic sofa fabric, along with a beautiful table light and a ‘gallery wall’, the small cottage appeared much larger. The dining was equipped with a large smoked glass table, Italian leather chairs and a bespoke light which really delivered the ‘interior design Ascot’ brief showing understated elegance and comfortable living.
