bright colourfull nursery.

This scheme is for a brightly coloured stimulating nursery with lots of texture and colour for a young baby, something very individual and 'zingy'. The room is double aspect and bright and airy.
Window treatment are v.important in a nursery …we specified blackout blinds in the form of 3no. roman blinds in a yellow and white spot design
Walls are white except the wall opposite the door which is wallpapered in a bold spots design in pinks,yellows and greens.
Contemporary high gloss lacquer finish nursery furniture adds a sense of freshness and brightness to the room. We selected a duck egg blue comfy chair for the corner near two of the windows and added brightly printed cushions. We suggested upcycling a classic old wide chest of drawers which offered great storage, by painting it bright yellow to make it appear less heavy and sit well in the room. To break all this colour up a bit and to inject some texture, we placed the large zebra print rug in the centre of the room.
