The drawing room

I enjoyed creating the scheme for this magnificent room with its vast ceilings and spectacular, semi-circular window. The colour palette incorporates pale greys, soft silvers and golds and warm taupes. Splashes of black help to ground the scheme and define the separate areas. I used a huge, beautiful Venetian mirror above one of the sofas, as well as striking Art Deco, mirrored furniture, with silver and gold gilt detail to add to the sense of space, light and opulence. The Art Deco coffee table’s black, glossy finish adds to the overall glamour. Tactile throws and rugs give an indulgent feel.
