Chiswick Residence

The replacement of a glazed conservatory extension produced a contemporary design for kitchen, dining and family spaces to the rear of this large family home in west London. Former spaces tended to be uncomfortable during the summer. This was addressed by rethinking and proportion and distribution of glazed elements to achieve good light where is was needed and greater connection to the garden. The redesign makes the space feel larger and the open plan gives the family more opportunity to enjoy the space collectively.
