We collaborated closely with the architects, contractor and the client on the single storey extension and internal refurbishment of this Victorian townhouse. The client wanted a clean, contemporary family home.
We used monochromatic colours to create a cohesive scheme between the old and the new. This was broken up with injections of colour and pattern in select areas. Warmth, depth and texture was added through the palette of materials; Scandinavian Douglas fir timber flooring, handmade cement tiles, concrete, marble and oak.
The striking kitchen is by Roundhouse Design. Bepoke black cabinets are combined with black basalt worktops, Carrara marble upstands and oak accents.
