Coastal Home

Influenced by their international travel to Florida, our client requested that their UK coastal home reflect their beloved annual trips to Key West.
A fresh and natural palette in shades of white, beige and green optimise the natural light in each space, along with careful lighting reconfiguration. Existing beams and timber flooring were stripped back to their natural colour and seagrass carpets installed to give a sense of beach. Rustic antiques are interspersed with sculptural contemporary furniture. Heavy linen upholstery and luxury cashmere throws are on hand for cosy nights in. Above the lime-washed oak kitchen table, transparent hand-blown glass pendants add a focal point, without obstructing the beautiful views to the sea. And two antique brass pineapples are a tribute to Key West's famous pineapple silhouetted white picket fences.
