Contemporary Country - Grade II Listed

This Grade II Listed Farmhouse nestled in the West Sussex countryside, underwent a thorough and sympathetic refurbishment. Lime mortar and natural breathable paints were used throughout alongside natural sisal flooring on refurbished brick floors. Minimal decoration allowing the original period features of the property to take centre stage. The property was furnished with both period and contemporary furniture, lighting and artwork, carefully balanced to provide a stylish country home for a well travelled family. Natural linen fabrics keep the interiors scheme grounded whilst cashmere throws, glamorous coffee table books, exquisite candles and hand crafted designer accessories were layered to provide a sense of luxury and feast for the senses. Set in a 1.25 acre garden, we collaborated with the client on the landscaping and planting in the immediate vicinity of the house to ground the building better within its surrounding.
