CURVE BENCH

CURVE BENCH : In 2017 our studio was commissioned to develop the seating for Re Centre. A unique space for creativity and wellness along the river Thames in Hammersmith. The vision for this space was to create one large circle of seating. We wanted the seating to embrace the people in this room, to create a sense of togetherness in a place conductive to rest to contemplate ... let the thoughts wonder.
Key aspect for this design was flexibility. The seating can be set up to suit various types of events at Re Centre. The design of the bench was developed over a series of prototypes always bearing the circle loop band - theme in mind.
