Built in the nineties, this large house had become a bit tired over the years, so we updated it with a boho-luxe theme. We updated the floors with new wooden flooring upstairs and downstairs, in a hard-wearing light oak finish. We then applied a fresh colour palette to all the walls. We designed and implemented many bespoke features, including wallpapered stair treads and Moroccan-style tiling in the kitchen. In the living room we used soft textures in blues, teals and greens, with a very funky 5.1 AV surround-sound system and large TV above the fireplace. The room was so spacious we also created a small office in the corner. In the dedicated study we commissioned built-in oak desk and shelving (stained to a rich mahogany finish), and sourced tartan wallpaper, dark rustic oak floors and a leather chesterfield. In the master bedroom we designed, made and installed beautiful rustic oak wardrobe doors and a sliding mirrored door to the ensuite.
