Farmhouse In the City - Family & Guest Bathroom

We created a family bathroom accessible from the central hallway for all guests. For the flooring, we chose Calcutta Viola marble for its striking beauty & movement that was evocatiive of smoke and fire—an ideal choice! The bathroom featured Lefroy Brooks fittings in unlacquered brass, in order to develop a patina over time, adding to the overall character. To honor the original flooring design of the fire station (herringbone), we laid the ceramic wall tiles from Fire Earth, in the same pattern. The handcarved vanity mirror adds a fairtale sweetness we couldn't resist.
