Farmhouse in the City - Hall Entrance

We covered the walls with a linen fabric to create a sense of calm and quiet upon entry. The apartment is located on a busy street, overlooking a high-traffic intersection and a school, so incorporating textiles to improve acoustics was essential. To maximise the hall space efficiently & add ambient evening light for the bathroom, we added a small antique writing desk with a Tiffany lamp which also served as a convenient spot to sit, open mail, slip on shoes, or store keys.
