Farmhouse in the City - Guest Bedroom

To enhance the room's overall functionality, we strategically positioned the bed beneath the windows, maximising circulation space. We redesigned a classic American cannonball poster-style bed in black and metal to modernise it.

Given the limited room for traditional curtains, we opted for a creative solution: a scalloped edge on both sides of a single pane of fabric. This detail allowed for an intentional look when the panels were closed & mirrored the headboard's design.

Classic Parsons stools were reupholstered in green silk tiger velvet from Scalamandre, popping against the purple and mustard velvet coverlet. We designed the custom wool hook-and-eye rug to tie in with the tightly woven, distinctly masculine linen wallcovering. Creating a harmonious tension between modern and traditional.
