A full-scale refurbishment of a Late-Victorian terraced house for a young family relocating from America. The brief was to create a vibrant, eclectic home celebrating classic English eccentricity, rich patterns, and traditional features. Balancing structural modifications with intricate design, I instructed structural work altering an internal wall and widening a chimney breast, while restoring historic character through custom wall panelling and classic cornicing.
Across the ground floor, master bedroom, and children’s room, I devised new spatial layouts and lighting plans before executing the full decorative schemes. The design features elaborate window pelmets and a statement custom headboard, contrasted by a whimsical aesthetic in the children's space. Every detail was curated, from light fittings to sourced antiques and tailored soft furnishings, while managing my own team of contractors alongside specialist curtain-makers and suppliers.
