The Kitchen

The existing kitchen, with its high-quality cabinetry and large kitchen island, formed the foundation of the design. Rather than overhauling the space entirely, we chose to work with the existing elements, integrating personalised features that aligned with the client's love of rustic barns. A key feature of this transformation was the addition of wooden panelling to the kitchen island, which brought a textured, organic quality to the room, creating a sense of warmth and character. The rustic charm was complemented by the inclusion of black ironmongery, which modernised the space while maintaining the desired farmhouse aesthetic. The island’s new finish, along with the updated lighting, helped to create a more contemporary yet timeless look.
