The brief was to combine the charm of a traditional mews house with the light of a modern interior space which would showcase an impressive art collection. The space was fully reconfigured to allow for an additional floor and open plan living. Pared-down materials, bespoke joinery, and striking architectural additions, including three giant skylights, a triple-height light well and a sweeping, open staircase, helped to achieve a light and airy, yet warm and textured, environment.
