Open Plan living / dining

The lighting scheme was key to this space’s mood, with the need for it to work successfully as both a practical family living area and an evening ambient entertaining space. Our efforts to optimise this are evident both in the warm light glowing from behind draped fabric in the dining area, the wash of illumination across the hand-glazed tiles underneath the kitchen worktop and in an unexpected detail in polished concrete of the large central column.
