Family room

This room is a multipurpose room. It has storage for children's toys but can also be used as a family media room to watch a film on the big screen or for socialising around a televised sport. It is in the basement so we decided to accept the darkness and paint the room in a dark smoky blue below a picture rail that can be used for a changing display of art work, even include framed artwork by the children. Above is wallpapers in a fine striped paper. Primary colours pop against the back drop colours so a mix of blues, reds and yellows have been used to bring some fun to the space.
