With a tiny head office in Jersey Play.com had chosen Cambridge for their main working office. One year in and they had tripled their staff and were in dia need of new premises.

They took on two huge floors in an empty office block that had long since been cared for. They asked me to give it a little wow factor with a small budget reminiscent of their roots working above a garage. A new carpet with colour feature blocks and accent curved walls in vibrant colours created the break-out area and receptions to divide and orientate the space.

Now Play.com are second only to Amazon in the online music and video retailer have over 500 staff based in their refurbished office in Cambridge.
