Rural Manor House - Herts

We were commissioned by the owners of this 6,000 sq ft family home to carry out a substantial refurbishment to the property.

In addition to the internal redecorations and new soft furnishings, the brief extended to include significant upgrades to the heating, electrical & lighting systems. Additionally, all windows, external doors and roof light were replaced for more thermally-efficient models.

In the kitchen, french doors were replaced with a wall of folding glass doors with motorised sun blinds to enhance the view of the landscaped grounds and natural ground-heated swimming pool beyond.

Internally, alterations were made to improve circulation and also to create a stunning vista through the property upon entering. A sophisticated Lutron home automation system was installed to control the lighting, security, audio visual and blinds. The home cinema was designed with a concealed drop-down motorised projector and screen from a bespoke, back-lit coffered ceiling.
