Sands Hotel Margate

Inara Interiors was appointed as part of a design and build team to see this project through from concept to completion. I wanted to keep an element of the Victorian heritage but still make the hotel up to date and modern. I designed it with a contemporary tranquility which was complimented by more traditional architectural elements of the design. Using the original stain glass windows, elaborate cornice and original columns I wanted to keep the design in touch with the buildings Victorian history and not make the space too out of keeping with its architecture.
