Scandanavian- styled refurbishment for a retired couple in leeds

Retired couple had decided to completely renovate their dated 1970's detatched home.
Harmony and a cohesive flow between the spaces was required.
The clients had a love of mid-century furniture style but had had enough of dark heavy timber.
After much discussion we introduced Ercol pale oak furniture into the scheme, this set the tone for the open tread staircase where we used the softly turned and tapered spindles to continue the organic feel of the furniture.
An eclectic collection of quirky artwork and colourful ceramics was given a new lease of life since the canvas of the general decorative scheme was simple and low key.
There is a feeling of uncluttered space and yet still a feeling of home.
