To fully furnish and specify architectural finishes for a house reconfigured from multiple dwellings to a single house for a young
South African couple.
The priority was to allow as much natural light through the house as possible and to create a seamless sense between the interior and the garden.
A large basement area was also excavated to allow for a cinema and bar area with a glass ceiling
which enabled light to flood down from the upper floors to the sub terra level.
The clients brief was to create a home that related to the industrial style of Shoreditch House (where they were members) but to soften it into a more residential format.
