Stunning seascape

A Cornish holiday home with a beachside flavour.

When you live a hectic London life, it can be difficult to switch off and get into holiday mode. So the minute my clients arrive in their Cornish holiday home, the seascape embraces them. I selected a colour palette of grey and blue tones to match the environment, and the slate floor is both appealing and practical - as keen sailors and surfers, they bring plenty of sand back with them! The lovely vaulted ceiling is painted all white to maximise the light, but to give a bit more warmth for the upstairs bedrooms there's a hint of raspberry. Throughout, the seaside ambiance is maintained through features, artwork and even the soft furnishings.
