That's A'Moire! - Sitting Room

The star of the room was the George Smith sofa, upholstered in an oversized Ralph Lauren fabric that has a distinct 80s vibe, paired with a custom alpaca rug. The walls—and even the ceiling—were covered in an ethereal Japanese washi paper with a metallic base, which helped to reflect light in a room that otherwise had low natural light. We were fortunate to find vintage Mario Bellini Temptation chairs, which still had their original mohair upholstery intact. Interestingly, the polished chrome lamps from the 80s, featuring knife pleat shades, gained fame through Gucci advertisements, though we didn't realize this until later. Additionally, we designed a custom ottoman with a playful peek-a-boo kick pleat and a strip of lime neon piping.a strip of lime neon piping.
