That's A'Moire! - Second Bedroom Close Up
Rather than opting for a conventional symmetrical scalloped headboard, I embraced the artistic challenge of replicating the wallpaper's uneven, hand-drawn waves—much to the dismay of our furniture maker! This bold choice inspired me to create three distinct widths of piping, adding depth and dimension that beautifully complement the wallpaper design. The 1980s Murano glass fin lamps and the striking 1950s pink onyx bedside tables became synchronus treasures in unifying the room's aesthetic. The custom-made bedding, crafted from a luxurious cotton weave infused with a subtle metallic thread, perfectly mirroring the mica accents in the tray ceiling, tying the entire space together in a harmonious blend of concept narrative, creativity and elegance.
