The Family Space

The key to the success of this beautiful living area was to achieve distinct zones within the large, open-plan space.
Allowing the period details to sing, we created two different seating areas, one for reading (the family are real book lovers) and one for watching TV.

The contemporary joinery we designed for the TV unit acts as a focal point for one side of the room, while the stunning original fireplace and panelling were painted dark blue to create a pleasing contrast. The result is a wonderful fusion of old and new which has provided our clients with comfortable, clearly zoned spaces in enjoy with their family.
