Urban style converted warehouse in St John's Wharf, East London

This converted warehouse apartment was completely gutted and the entire space reconfigured to provide - 2 bedrooms, guest bathroom, luxury en-suite, open plan kitchen, dining and 2 living areas. Not least was the provision of ample storage. Our design focus was the maximisation of the stunning views over the river Thames, together with the integration of the beautiful original warehouse features - cast iron columns and exposed brickwork. A large, light and spacious main space was created overlooking the river - this was subtly zoned with furniture, lighting and the existing cast iron columns to create more intimate spaces within the larger space but without obstructing the views. A dramatic corridor was designed to connect all the rooms, which is lined with storage and though which one passes into the bedrooms and bathrooms.
