Victorian House renovation in Chiswick, West London

Project: Full renovation with kitchen and basement extension, design / furnishing of family home.

A forever home, the design was to demonstrate the family’s character and vibrancy, with a focus, in particular, on ensuring creativity in children’s areas where function, fun and practicality were prioritised. Special consideration were paid to important elements of the design and selection of furnishings, for instance, child friendliness and safety aspects to ensure suitability for a young family. A colour palette of neutral tones was utilised throughout - calm, warm and welcoming. Tasteful accents of colour were used to provide energy, visual interest and stimulation, particularly in the children’s areas of the house. The sophisticated scheme complimented the period features and interior architecture, alongside the more contemporary elements that were introduced, thus becoming an appealing backdrop to best display artwork through the house.
