About Nicola McEwan

Nicola McEwan co-founded the design and build company Threshold Interiors in 2015, and went on to set up Mandeville Interiors in early 2018, focussing purely on design consultancy.

Nicola studied Interior Design at Glasgow School of Art which is internationally recognised as one of Europe’s foremost institutions for the creative industries.
Since graduating in 2002, she spent time at various London based design consultancies, working for well known, established brands such as Bombay Sapphire and Waterstone’s as well as smaller independent clients.
Prior to founding her own business, Nicola was Head of Design for Zizzi Restaurants and oversaw the design and delivery of over 100 new and refurbished restaurants for the estate.
Renowned for her ability to craft interiors that are elegant and undertaken in an enjoyable, collaborative manner, past clients will testify that the process is inspiring.
