Bijou Beauty - Bed Close-up

The bed is a study in cohesion. I used Rubelli fabrics to elevate basic pieces of furniture, bringing in pops of the client’s favourite colours and weaving in the palette from the other areas. The subtle multicoloured stitching in the Asian-inspired curtains by Donghia tied all the colours together. And because little details count for so much, the artwork was chosen because it mimicked the movement of the pattern in the curtains—resulting in a subtly harmonious blend of colour, pattern, and texture.
