Cotswolds Family Home

The Gables is a spacious 5 bedroom family house originally constructed in the 1930’s, featuring two gabled aspects that make up the front elevation of this home. The owners had recently relocated to the area from London and wanted to experiment with more colour and pattern, introducing playful elements and striking features throughout. Colour schemes were thoughtfully considered to ensure a sense of flow throughout the interlinking of spaces.

The full rennovations has seen an extension to the rear of the house, adding a large living and dining space, play room, home office and family kitchen on the ground floor. We also reconfigured the ground floor layout to reposition the entrance, opening up a larger footprint and improving function and sense of flow - mixing contemporary pieces with some antiques has created a truly unique home that stands up to the tests of family life whilst also providing a sanctuary the invites a sense calm.
