Forte Kitchen

The Forte Kitchen is a cafe specialising in simple, rustic British food. Its focus is on creating unfussy and unpretentious first-rate dishes, which are high on flavour and packed full of quality local ingredients.

The interior combines a tasteful, restrained backdrop with lovingly curated quirky & vintage pieces; which seek to highlight both the timeless, classic appeal of the space and the relaxed, informal dining experience. Classic Farrow & Ball colours contrast seamlessly with the feature ‘spice wall’ – if you get close enough you can smell the variety of ground spices included within the paint! The well-worn reclaimed furniture, fireplace and accessories complete the scheme, providing a sense of history and narrative to the space.
Overall the interior encapsulates the personal and highly polished approach the owners bring to the Forte Kitchen, an ideology which has been successfully realised within the re-design.
