Mulberry's Hair & Beauty Salon, Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire

The scheme is housed in an impressive Georgian building set within the old town part of Beaconsfield.

The building retains numerous original features such as an impressive exposed roof structure, cornices, skirtings etc which the design respects and respond to. The grounds are also impressive and boast an open air swimming pool.

The brief was to design a contemporary, luxurious salon with a 'club lounge' aesthetic, which houses functions such as a hair salon, lounge, beauty treatments, and a juice bar.

The ground floor features a vast cutting floor with state of the art furniture from Aston and Fincher, a licensed bar, and a small retail outlet for home accessories. This floor also features a series of small zen gardens which clients can look out onto from inside the salon.

The first floor predominantly houses beauty treatments in a relaxing atmosphere which is created by the play between the existing building and the contemporary interior.
