A full-scale refurbishment of a five-bedroom, four-bathroom first floor plus entrance hallway in an outdated Oxfordshire farmhouse for a young family. The brief was to create a traditional country aesthetic using rich colours, floral patterns, and natural finishes, balancing playful touches in the children's spaces with an overarching timeless sophistication. The design seamlessly incorporated the clients' own meaningful pieces alongside a few carefully sourced antiques. As lead (and only) designer, I managed all elements from layouts, lighting, and bathroom fixtures to sourcing all elements and creating the entire decorative schemes including all finishes, accessories, fabrics and bespoke soft furnishings like custom headboards. The project was executed by collaborating closely with the client’s build team coordinating all elements of the project while bringing in my own trusted network of specialist curtain & headboard makers, wallpaper and flooring experts.
