Royal Thames Yacht Club, Knightsbridge

Overlooking Hyde Park, The Royal Thames Yacht Club (est.1775) is the oldest continuously operating yacht club in the world. We felt privileged to be chosen to re-design the main function room - The Britannia Bar - in this exclusive Knightsbridge clubhouse. The brief was to create a timeless and elegant space for its members to relax in and talk all things sailing, racing and yachting, over cocktails or whisky.

With bespoke seating upholstered in luxurious leathers and rich velvets, hand-made brass lighting, and slick polished black granite tables, the finishes combine to give a sophisticated and refined environment.

Having the opportunity to undertake design work in such a long-established London landmark has been an honour which we’ve greatly valued.
