Dining Room
A transitional space, used for adult dining but also open to the family room via a set of double doors. Because this room had to sit comfortably across both environments, we kept the style of the dining room furniture and mid-tone walls closely related to those used in the reception room, but introduced far more accent orange into this room, thereby linking it with the very colourful interconnecting family room. A solid oak dining table from Van Rossum is the centrepiece, displaying beautiful exposed dovetail jointing (‘honesty of construction’ - an Arts and Crafts ideal). Twelve chairs from Mood have sleek dark brown leather backs and more playful orange velvet fronts. Boutique pendants from Bocci and atmospheric coffer lighting complete the experience.
