The Field House

The Field House was a big change for the client, who was downsizing from an old Georgian Rectory house to this new-build country house. We reused almost all of the client’s furniture as they had some great pieces collected over the years, but the challenge was to make their quite heavy, old-fashioned furniture work with the ‘Scandinavian, hygge’ brief - but we achieved this by using natural fabrics to reupholster most of her furniture. The client also had an amazing art collection, so on the styling day she brought out all of her favourite pieces from storage and I placed them around the house.
