Wandsworth Loft Conversion

After ten years in their much-loved Wandsworth home, this busy professional couple wanted to reclaim their loft space from laundry racks and storage overflow—and transform it into a glamorous, welcoming guest suite for visiting family.

We approached the redesign as if crafting a boutique hotel room, layering bold colour, rich textures, and a sense of playful luxury. An awkward chimney breast became a design feature, housing bespoke joinery on either side—bookcases with integrated bedside tables—framing a sculptural wingback headboard upholstered in vibrant fabric.

Everything in the space was designed from scratch, including a bespoke upholstered bed base with hidden storage drawers, built to maximise functionality without compromising on style.

The result is a fun, elegant, and highly personal space that feels both generous and completely at home in this family’s much-loved house.
