Full scale refurbishment or this central London apartment for a young couple with a new baby. The brief was to convert the new-build apartment, which had a very clinical, boxy feel to a home with character and quality. The style we went for is 'neo-traditional' - a mix between contemporary and classic in this central London apartment.
We replaced the doors, skirting boards, architraves, laid oak flooring throughout, built in bookcases, replaced lighting, replaced wardrobe doors and re-decorated the entire flat. We gutted and replaced both bathrooms, adding beautiful bespoke tiles, quality brassware, and bespoke vanity units.
The existing kitchen cabinets were sanded down and painted, new cabinet door knobs and handles fitted, and we added cornicing to create some detail, in addition to replacing the appliances, and fitting a carrara marble worktop.
