This London townhouse in Primrose Hill, spanning 6 floors and 7,000 square foot is one of Davina’s personal favourite projects. Taking just under 2 years to complete, whilst the family were mostly living on site it was both a design and a logistical challenge. Comprising of house and separate flat, our brief was to return the house to a family home with the additional of some very specific requests: Changing the top floor into a graphic design studio and the basement into a teenage hangout that could at a later date, and very simply become a separate flat again. With lots of original features to play with, combined with stunning views over the park it was not difficult to see the potential of this home. We choose a colour plate of muted greys with splashes of colour. Purples became a theme throughout, mixed with occasional blues and neutrals. The brief was very much that the house should not feel too “designed” and looking back on these images I hope this is indeed what we achieved.
