Our clients had lived in their semi-detached house in Wimbledon for 29 years but wanted more space. They were keen to see what could be done to improve the house, and in particular the kitchen-dining space and indoor-outdoor flow, as they wanted to stay in the area.
We were matched to their project by Architects.net. We designed a ground floor extension, re-jigged the layout and refurbished the house, taking the project from concept to completion. This included architecture, interior design, introducing great builders and transforming the garden with planting and the addition of an outdoor dining area.
Using warm, light grey tones and off-whites, offset by a dark contrasting features such as the glazing frames, anthracite finish on the kitchen island and wall units and external zinc cladding, we created a quiet dynamic in the spaces.
